The only road connecting Tusheti with the west of Georgian crosses 2950m high Abano pass from Kakheti, is 4WD only and passable from about late May to mid-October. There is no public transport to Tusheti.To get to Omalo, you will need to hire a driver with a 4WD vehicle.
