5-day horseback tour from Tusheti to Khevsureti, passing through the Atsunta pass. One of the most impressive and stunningly beautiful trails in Georgia, which will leave you with unforgettable memories and make you want to come back again.

Day 1:  Pick up from Tbilisi.

Start - at 07 AM - On the first day you will arrive to Tusheti from Tbilisi through the Abano pass, you will have time for rest and taking photos.

Around 2 PM you will be at your guesthouse and have a lunch. This will be your first day in Tusheti and mostly a day of rest, so after lunch we will visit the visitor center. We will have to walk 15 minutes from the guesthouse to the visitor center.

Overnight and dinner in the village of Omalo in the guesthouse.

Day 2: From Omalo to Dartlo and Kvavlo.

Start - 11AM - Breakfast -9AM. Horseback tour starts from the village of  Kvemo Omalo, from Gele the route goes up  to the direction of  Dartlo, which is distinguished by its unique architecture. Dartlo is renovated village, where you will see medieval stone houses and defensive buildings. From Dartlo we will go up in village Kvavlo and at evening we go back in Dartlo.

Lunch - we will have lunch in Dartlo.

Overnight and dinner in the village of Dartlo in the guesthouse.

Difficulty of the day - medium.

Day 3: From Dartlo to village Girevi.

Start - 11AM - Breakfast -9AM. This is way is short and easy than other days. On the way we will visit beautiful village Parsma. In Parsma we will see fortress and complex of the St.George icon and icon of St.Theodore.

Village Girevi - here you will need your passport, because we need passes from the border guards.

Overnight and dinner in the village of Girevi in the guesthouse.

Difficulty of the day - easy.

Day 4: From Girevi to Kvakhidi.

Start - 10AM - Breakfast -9AM. This day we start most difficult part of our tour. We should cross small mountain rivers, also we will see ruined village Chontio. This trail is difficult as well as the most beautiful. I am sure it will make a great impression on you. In Kvakhidi we will set up the tents.

Dinner - In Kvakhidi.

Day 5: From Kvakhidi to Khidotani.

Start - 11AM - Breakfast -10AM. This is a day when we will cross the Atsunta pass – 3520m,  and go down in khevsureti,

Overnight in Khidotani where we will set up the tents and have dinner.

lunch - we will have near the trail.

Dinner - In Khidotani.

Overnight - Tent

Day 6: From Khidotani to Shatili.

Start - 11AM - Breakfast -10AM.

Unfortunately, this will be the last day of our tour and our guides will say goodbye to you in Shatil, where the car will meet you and take you to Tbilisi.

We will need some deposit to be able to book your tour. Deposit should be 30% of the money. 

Your Deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your booking more than 45 days before the start of the tour. If you cancel later, we reserve the right not to refuned the deposit.
